PAMAS provides air support to remote islands or isolated coastal or mountainous areas that have limited access to roads and medical care.
PAMAS currently has 7 volunteer pilots who operate 6 aircraft, including an R44 helicopter and five airplanes. These include a Cessna 172, a 180, two 182’s, a 206, and a Piper Twin Comanche. More than 1500 flight hours are logged by volunteer pilots each year, with 80% of the flights being medical evacuation cases.
We currently have 4 areas of the Philippines we cover, with airbases in:
- Brooke’s Point, Palawan
- Banuar, Quirino, North Luzon
- Tuy, Batangas, South Luzon
- Valencia City, Bukidnon, Mindanao

PAMAS is a unique ministry in several ways. First, it is the only air medical evacuation service of its kind in the Philippines that is available to all, regardless of religion, cultural background, or financial abilities. Secondly, it operates by faith, through donations, and is solely staffed by volunteers. These volunteers share the same passion to carry the great news of the Gospel to the world.
